Dakota Thunder earned 2nd place at the Independent Classic invitational tournament in Minneapolis May 20-22nd.
They have been in 3 tournaments so far, with a championship win in Grand Forks in the season opener. They will be playing in 3 more yet this summer/fall.
This is the 2nd year these kids have played together. Last year they took the championship in 2 tournaments and finished 2nd in 2 tournaments.
Kids on the Dakota Thunder are from Mayville, Grafton, Fargo, West Fargo, Grand Forks, Devils Lake, Williston, Dickinson and Valley City.
