Spafford, 68, Binford, ND died Saturday morning, May 21, 2016 at Sanford Health Care in Fargo, ND.
Linda Beyer was born December 28, 1947 at Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Clarence and Jeanette (Widmer) Beyer. She attended school and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1965. She went to work at the Jamestown Truck Plaza as a cook and waitress. In the fall of 1975 she moved to Bismarck.
She and Tom Spafford were married September 23, 1976 and made their home in Bismarck where she worked at the ND Game and Fish and also Woolworths. They moved to Jamestown in 1983 where she did daycare for many years. In May of 2000 they moved to Binford, ND where they have continued to reside.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, camping, fishing and especially cooking. She will be known for always being Happy and Jolly.
Linda is survived by her husband Tom, Binford, ND; her children, Vicki Houston, Helena, MT, Debra Nelson, Idaho Falls, ID, and Marilyn Colsch, Brooklyn Center, MN; grandchildren and great grandchildren; her mother, Jeanette Beyer, brother, Jim Beyer, and sister Candi Otto, all of Jamestown, ND.
She was preceded in death by her father Clarence, son Bill, and brother Don.
