CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Valley City Barnes County Director of Economic Development Jennifer Feist says city officials did everything they could to keep the Pizza Corner Factory operating in Valley City.

Feist was referring to comments made by Bob Drake on the May 16th addition of KOVC’s Voice of the Valley program moderated by Steve Urness.

During a May 19th interview on KOVC’s Voice of the Valley Feist gave her version of the steps that were taken by the city commission and the city planning and zoning committee after Pizza Corner president Dave Zubrod applied for a building permit in September of 2015 to expand his factory.

In March of 2016, the owner of the Pizza Corner frozen pizza factory, Dave Zubrod announced that he sold his frozen pizza brand to Bernatello’s Pizza based out of Maple Lake, Minnesota.
