Myron Winings 64, died on May 1, 2016 in Aberdeen, Idaho.  A time of gathering with the family to share stories and remembrances will be held from 2PM until 4PM Monday, May 16, 2016 at the Lerud-Schuldt Funeral Home.  A reception will follow and inurnment will take place at the Arthur Cemetery at Arthur, ND.

Robin was born May 15, 1951 in Valley City, ND.  He was the son of Howard and Evelyn Winings.  Robin went to grade school in Oriska, ND and then attended high school at Arthur, ND.

Robin farmed for a couple of years and then moved to the Fargo/Moorhead area where he worked at a few different places including Thompson Motors, Keith’s Cycles Honda Shop and Mack Trucks. He then moved to Flagstaff, AZ and worked for Rogers Truck Repair for 8 years.  He moved to Aberdeen, Idaho and worked for Paul Hoffman’s Repair.  Robin also drove potato trucks for farmers and then spent several years driving over the road for Gilbert Kent and then Gary Shritter.  Robin retired and built his own shop and began repairing and modifying vehicles for himself and his friends.  He enjoyed trips to see his family.

Robin is survived by his brother Don (Rita) Winings, Valley City, ND; his sister Janine Winings (Mark Feist) Mounds, OK; his nieces Kristy (Jeff) Falstad, LaMoure, ND and Vicki (Tim) Hass, Valley City, ND; his great nieces and nephews, Sarah, Carson, Carter, and Claire Hass, Lexi (Cody) Wilson and their daughter Kayla, all of Valley City.  He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Evelyn Winings; his nephew and good friend Travis Winings; and his great nephew Jordan S. Johnson.
