WIMBLEDON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On January 15th, 2016, the Barnes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary alarm at CM’s Place bar in Wimbledon. The department reports that their investigation has led to the arrest of an individual.

According to Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin, 19 year-old Jerry Laib allegedly gained entry into the bar by breaking a front window. The responsible party then pried open a gaming machine, but nothing was taken. The department reports that their investigation in the incident has led to the arrest of Laib.

The investigation included multiple county investigations in the State and Laib will have other charges in other counties. Laib has been arrested on a Barnes County warrant for Burglary and Criminal Mischief.
