N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Two Rivers Activity Center has been set for Friday, April 29th at 4:30 PM.
The ceremony will be at the construction site on 5th Street Northeast, North of the Gussner Elementary School. Representatives from the TRAC Advisory Board and Parks & Recreation Commission will be speaking along with the building architect and construction manager.
If inclement weather occurs, the ceremony will be held at the Gussner Elementary School Gymnasium. The $28.1 million facility will include an aquatics center, child care center, group fitness rooms, and more.
Construction is estimated to be completed in September 2017.
