funeral service for Marjorie A. Regner, 81, Litchville, North Dakota will be 10:30 am Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Litchville with Pastor Marsha Hegna officiating.  Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery.  She died Friday, April 15, 2016.

Visitation will be 4 – 7 pm Tuesday, April 19 at the Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel, Valley City, with a prayer service at 7 pm.  Visitation will continue one hour before the service at the church.

Marjorie Alvina Olson was born December 27, 1934 at the farm home in Lamoure County, North Dakota, the daughter of Sig and Gudrum (Ness) Olson.  She attended rural schools and graduated from LaMoure High School in 1952.  Marjorie was united in marriage to Earl Regner on April 17, 1953 at St. John’s Lutheran Church parsonage, rural Marion, North Dakota.   They made their home on Earl’s family’s homestead where they farmed until retiring in the late 1990’s.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was involved with Circle and the church quilters.  Earl and Marjorie also enjoyed the times when they used to square dance.  She spent time raising her family and did gardening, canning and baking.  She was a member of the Lucky 13 Homemaker’s Club.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Earl; three daughters, Donna (Scott) Flach, Bismarck, ND, Carol Schumacher, St. Peter, MN, and Robin (Darren) Miedema, Litchville; a son, Steve (Wendy) Regner, Fargo, ND; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandson.  She has two sisters and three bothers that survive, Carol (Del) McFarland, SD, Karen Pederson, ND, Ron (Peggy) Olson, CO, Dale (Cindy) Olson, WY and Dean (Susan) Olson; a sister-in-law, Charlene Olson, MN; and a special nephew, Rodney Lebahn, Litchville.
