N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Introduced in 1979, the monster truck Bigfoot is widely regarded as the original monster truck and has traveled the globe. Its travels brought it to Jamestown, North Dakota on Friday, April 15th.

Bigfoot was founded by current owner and operator Bob Chandler. With 21 different versions of the truck created spanning nearly a 40 year history, Bigfoot 15 is an active race truck competing as Firestone Bigfoot. The truck has traveled all over the world, bringing its 1,400 horse power to the Buffalo City.

Driver Josh Gibson travels with Bigfoot 15. He is responsible for the maintenance, care, and handling of the rig. He has spent nearly 2 and a half years with the truck and has been all over the world.

Gibson crushed some cars for a crowd of around 300 people at the grand opening of the Northwest Tire’s new Truck and Farm Center.
