(NewsDakota.com) – Central Cass has moved into the top spot in the latest Class B girls basketball poll released Monday night.
The Squirrels were No. 2 last week, but knocked off then No. 1 Carrington on Friday night. Carrington fell just one spot to No. 2 in this week’s poll. Kindred (11-0) is up to No. 6 in the poll, and Linton-HMB and Midkota both received votes.
In the Class B boys poll, North Star remained the unanimous No. 1 team. LaMoure (14-0) is No. 3, and Central Cass (12-0) is No. 4. Area teams Maple Valley and Griggs County Central both received votes.
