N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two people were hurt after a two vehicle crash near Mapleton just after 7:00 PM Wednesday evening.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that an SUV slowed down in the left-lane of I-94 to turn around at a median crossover when it was rear-ended by a car. Both the SUV and car ended up in the ditch and the SUV rolled onto its side.

The cars driver, 19 year-old Clay Larocque of Fargo, and the driver of the SUV, 28 year-old Travis Roberts of Dakota City, Iowa, were injured in the crash and taken to Fargo hospitals.

The crash remains under investigation.
