N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The new Jamestown City Forester has hit the ground running in her first month of the job.

Sheri Steckler accepted the city forester position in February of this year and has set her sights on tree inspections for the Spring. Steckler will be inspecting trees for public property as part of the annual inspections.

Steckler and the street department will be in the community to do tree assessments through the Spring. They’ll be seeking trees that need trimming or ones that need to be taken down.
