Schulz, 82, of Jamestown, ND, formerly of Pingree, ND, passed away Tuesday morning, April 12, 2016 at Eventide, Jamestown.

LeRae Smith was born November 23, 1933, the daughter of Raymond and Beulah Smith. She graduated from Jamestown College and taught in a one-room schoolhouse near Woodworth, ND.  LeRae married Norbert Schulz on June 18, 1954.  They lived on a farm near Woodworth until they moved to a farm near Pingree in 1957.  They lived there for 37 years and then moved to Jamestown in 1994 and LeRae entered Eventide in 2009.  Norbert died on August 13, 2011.  She loved reading and studying her Bible, and going places with her three lady friends, Barbara Norenberg, Donna Tompkins, and Ellen Olsen.  LeRae also loved playing cards and visiting friends and neighbors.

LeRae was a member of Pingree Lutheran Church and the Ladies’ Aid, and the Ladies’ Auxiliary in Woodworth.

She is survived by her three children, Steven (Ann) Schulz, Pingree, Mark Schulz and Lynda Schulz, both of Jamestown; two brothers-in-law; and four sisters-in-law.

LeRae was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two infant sons.

Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2016 at Atonement Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor James Desai officiating.

Visitation: 9:00 a.m., to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown and one hour before the service at the church.

Interment: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
