(NewsDakota.com) – Five teachers and one administrator were approved for early retirement at Monday’s Jamestown School Board meeting.

Jamestown Middle School principal Joe Hegland is the administrator who applied. He has been with Jamestown Public Schools for 33 years. The five teachers are Kim Carlson, Anthony Olsen, Jan Johnson, Dianne Conlon and Sanda Dale.

All six were approved for a 77.5 percent payment of what their full early retirement payment would have been. Superintendent Bob Toso says the six will be sent a contract to sign in the next few days, which will effectively make their retirement plans official.
