CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–Valley City welcomes the Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan today at Trestles and the Valley City Country Club.

The event is an annual promotional event for the Minnesota Twins.  They tour the region and talk with fans aheaad of the news season.

This season, Twins manager Ron Gardenhire is once again on the trip.  He is joined by pitchers Glen Perkins and Brian Duensing, and hitting coach Joe Vavra.  

Cory Provus, who replaces legendary Twins broadcaster John Gordon this season, will also attend.  Fans will also be treated by TC, the Twins bear mascot.

The event begins with a ballpark-style lunch at Trestles, starting at 12:00 p.m.  The Twins will arrive at 12:45 and will stay around an hour.  All are welcome to attend.
