(NewsDakota.com) Once again, KDDR radio has been honored for its sports coverage from a regional broadcasting association.

KDDR received First Place honors in the Sports Reporting category, and two Awards Of Merit in the Sportscast/Program category as part of the 2016 Eric Sevareid Awards presented by the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association on Saturday night in Minneapolis.

Within the last three years, KDDR has been awarded eight Sevaried Awards, including three First Place awards and five Awards of Merit; all for sports broadcasting.

The Sevaried Awards are presented anually in various news, sports and multimedia categories to student, small, medium and large radio and television stations within North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and Wisconsin.
