N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their run report for the week of April 1st through the 7th in Jamestown.
According to Fire Chief Jim Ruether, the department responded to five calls during the week, with three of those for a malfunctioning fire alarm at the National Buffalo Museum. That adds to the total calls for the year so far, making that 66 total calls for 2016.
Below is a full rundown of dates, times, and descriptions of each call responded to during the week.
April 2nd, 10:50PM, ready squad responded to 1504 Evergreen Drive, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0 ppm was detected. Cause-faulty detector. Time out 50 minutes.
April 3rd, 10:03PM, ready squad responded to 424 3rd Ave SW, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate a smell of odor. Firefighters were cancelled enroute, occupant called natural gas company to investigate. Time out 17 minutes.
April 5th, 3:51PM, ready squad responded to 500 17th St SE, National Buffalo Museum, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-unknown. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 30 minutes.
