N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Marksmanship Education Range continues to develop and grow as much as they can without one of their biggest needs; land.
An open meeting was held Monday, April 4th to discuss several items the group was working on. The organization was officially recognized by the state as of March 22nd and will be an official non-profit organization when the final papers are signed April 8th. President of the Board of Directors Curt Kaseman stated that they have found the property they want for the range.
Kaseman pointed out that the land is really the best property they’ve looked at for the range.
The board will continue fundraising and solidifying plans while the search for property continues. The organization is continuing to seek a minimum of 40 acres of land to fulfill the plans they have. Kaseman stated that there has been no negative feedback regarding the clubs goal.
Another meeting has been planed for May 2nd at 7 PM at the Game and Fish Offices in Jamestown.
