CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – During its March meeting, the Northern Plains Electric Operation Round-Up approved grants totaling $3,700 to help support worthy causes.
The funds raised for Operation Round-Up come courtesy of members of the co-op that voluntarily elect to have their electric bills rounded up to the next dollar. The donated about averages about 50 cents a month for each member and raises approximately $37,000 every year. The program has helped over 855 local charitable causes since 1998.

McHenry Senior Citizen, operational costs.
Stutsman County 4-H, recognition banquet.
