MS (NewsDakota.com) – Former Valley City Hi-Liner, Erin Hart is setting new records at St. Cloud State University for swimming.
Hart competed at the NSISC (New South Intercollegiate Swimming Conference) meet in Cleveland, Mississippi and broke three school records: the 100 yard backstroke (55.69), 200 yard backstroke (2:02.18), and 800 yard freestyle relay (7:31.96).
Hart placed second in the 200 yard freestyle relay, third in the 800 yard freestyle relay and 400 yard freestyle relay, fourth in the 100 yard and 200 yard backstroke, fourth in the 200 yard medley relay.
She posted National B-cut qualification times in the 100 yard and 200 yard backstroke.
Hart is ranked 14th in the nation in the 100 backstroke, 24th in the nation in the 200 backstroke and she will be swimming both event’s at the NCAA DII National Swim and Dive meet on March 9-12 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
