N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  Once again the Civic Center held three games on Saturday for the District 5 Boys Class B Basketball Tourney, no upsets on day two but the first game went into overtime.  Below are the results.

Barnes County North 76 Midkota/Kensal 75 OT

In a game the featured 13 lead changes, 12 ties, 41 total fouls and 131 shots from field, the Bison of BCN get the overtime victory over the Mustangs to move into the region qualifying game in Monday.  Leading the way for the Bison was Allen Contreras with 28 points and 23 rebounds, his second double double of the tourney.  David Fletcher added 21.  Senior Joe Vollmer had 31 points and 18 rebounds for Midkota.  Midkota ends their season at 0-21.  BCN improves to 2-17.  

 Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier 52 Carrington 31

Senior Connor Entzi had 22 points and five blocked shots to help the Rebels move into the championship game on Monday night and also qualify for the Region 3 Tourney starting March 7th in Jamestown.  Garrett Bickett had 12 for the Cardinals.  The Rebels improve to 17-3, Carrington drops to 11-10.  

Ellendale 73 Lamoure/Litchville/Marion 45

Senior Brennen Vance had 19 points for Ellendale.  The Cardinals shot 59% from the field and hit nine 3-pointers.  Leading the way for the Loboes was Brady Warken 11.  Ellendale improves to 18-3, LLM drops to 10-11.

6pm – Carrington vs. Barnes County North (region qualifier)

730p – Ellendale vs. Edgeley/KM (championship)
