CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Washington elementary students recognized the efforts of law enforcement officers during their Acts of Kindness pep rally in Valley City on Friday, February 26.

Valley City Police Chief Fred Thompson and other officers from his department and members of the Barnes County Sheriff’s office received praise for their hard work.

Washington Principal Chad Leuck says this year students were entertained with a puppet that had an anti-bullying message.
