N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Montpelier student and Pettibone student are heading to Washington, D.C. courtesy of two rural electric cooperatives.
Sebastian “Hobie” Bear from Montpelier High School and Morgan Ziesch from Kidder County School will be attending the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour this June. The all-expense paid trip will have students participating in activities sponsored by the National Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives. All applicants are served by Northern Plains Electric Cooperative and had to type a survey on the importance of rural electricity.
Sebastian and Morgan will be leaving June 11th through the 17th and will be joining 15 or more North Dakota students at the capitol. 1,500 students will be participating from around the country.
