CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Valley City High School Concert Band received the North Dakota Governor’s Band award by Governor Jack Dalrymple and First Lady Betsy during a special ceremony in the Hi-Liner Activity Center on March 8th.

Governor Dalrymple said these high school musicians are also good students and ambassadors for the state.

Valley City High School Concert Band Director Tom Kjelland said being awarded the North Dakota Governor’ band is an honor.
