– The Jamestown High School hockey teams dominated the Dickinson Midgets in a boys and girls doubleheader Saturday in Dickinson.

The Blue Jay boys scored three goals in the second period en route to a 4-0 shutout victory. Tygh Yatskis had 17 saves for the Blue Jays. Brady Anderson, Dakotah Spitzer, Riley Schafer and Alex Williams all scored goals.The Blue Jays improve to 2-7-1 overall and 2-5-1 in the West Region.

In the girls game, Steph Kamlitz found the net four times for Jamestown as she helped the Blue Jays to a big 7-1 victory. Amber Schaack had two goals and Torri Kamlitz added another for Jamestown. The Blue Jays are now 5-5-1 overall, and 4-5 in North Dakota. They are sixth in the North Dakota standings with nine points.
