CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Hi-Liners got back on the winning track with a 74-69 win over the Wahpeton Huskies in Eastern Dakota Conference boys basketball on Tuesday night. 

Valley City (3-3 overall, 2-2 EDC) limited Wahpeton to 27 second half points and took advantage of the free throw line down the the stretch.  

The Hi-Liners were 17-21 from the charity stripe in the game and were paced by Dalton Ondracek with 17 points. 

Nate Beyer led the Huskies (2-6 overall, 2-6 EDC) with 23 points on the night. Wahpeton hit 11 three-pointers in the game and went 9-15 from the free throw line.
