N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Northern Plains & Dakota Valley Electric Co-ops are providing opportunities for area youth this year.
According to the co-ops, students will be selected to travel to Washington D.C. on the co-ops behalf. Each co-op will send one student and 16 total North Dakota students will meet up with other students from across the country. Interested students have until January 29th to sign up.
The Basin Electric Cooperative, Dakota Valley and Northern Plains offer a $1,000 scholarship every year. The essay question is the same as the essay question for the Youth Tour and students will have until February 12th to sign up.
