VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City Public Works crews are out working as hard as they can to get those without power in the city back up and running.
City Administrator Gwen Crawford said there is significant damage in the city and it’s going to be a slow but steady process.
She said if you are able to help a neighbor please do so. We know many of you are dealing with significant tree damage following this horrific storm. The Tree & Branch Disposal Site is open 24 hours a day for anyone able to haul to that site west of the Transfer Station entrance. If you don’t have a way to transport branches, just cut, clean, and pile them neatly on the boulevard near the curb.
Crawford said Public Works crews will be making rounds and picking them up as time allows over the next couple of weeks. We appreciate your patience as we work through this cleanup. Stay safe and thank you for helping keep Valley City moving forward. More details will be released later.
