
ROGER, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 16-year-old female was seriously injured in a crash about a mile east of Rogers, North Dakota on Thursday, June 19th shortly after 10 o’clock in the morning.
The Highway Patrol says a 1994 Dodge Ram was traveling southbound on 112th Ave SE, and a 2012 Peterbilt Semi was traveling westbound on 24th Street. The intersection is controlled by stop signs for both northbound and southbound traffic. The Dodge Ram failed to stop at the stop sign and entered the intersection, striking the rear passenger trailer tank of the Peterbilt in a T-bone style collision.
The driver of the Dodge Ram pickup was not wearing a seat belt and sustained serious, life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash. The driver of the semi was not injured in the crash.
This crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Other agencies who assisted at the crash scene included the Barnes County Sheriff’s Department, and Barnes County Ambulance.
