VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Barnes County Public Library Foundation will hold their annual Pie Social fundraiser on Saturday, June 14th from 11 am—3 pm on the library lawn (410 Central
Ave. N).
The Library Foundation is a nonprofit organization which works to support our local public library. They were the driving force for fundraising and implementation of the 2024 Roof and Restoration projects for our 1903 Carnegie library building.
The Pie Social features a wide variety of homemade pies baked by local supporters of the library. For a mere $5, you will receive a slice of pie of your choice, ice cream, and coffee or lemonade. This price has not changed for over 40 years! Serving will begin after the parade at 11am and continue until 3 pm.
The Library Foundation invites you to come and enjoy a break during Community Days and support the Valley City Barnes County Public Library by participating in this fundraising event. They also invite you to ask questions about the library and the many ways that it serves our community.
If you would like to support this event in other ways, donations of pies are welcome as well as your volunteering of time. Please contact the library to sign up for pie donations or to volunteer to serve that day. Phone 701-845-3821.
All proceeds raised will be used to support the mission and vision of the Valley City Barnes County Public Library.
