VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Firefighters have been busy putting out grass fires in the area over the last couple of weeks.
On Monday, May 12th, firefighters from Valley City worked for several hours trying to contain a grass fire some 12 miles south of Interstate 94 along the Peak Road in Barnes County.
Crews had to refill their water tanks several times on Monday to keep the grass fire contained as high temperatures and a gusty wind kept fueling the grass fire. More details will be released later.
