Schedules have been released by the North Star Athletic Association for opening games of the conference’s softball and baseball tournaments, which are both scheduled to begin Thursday in Dickinson.

UJ baseball, the second seed, will play its first game at Dakota Community Bank & Trust Ballpark on Thursday against seventh seed Mayville State.  First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 PM Central time, and coverage will begin at 4:45 PM on Thursday on The Voice of the Jimmies, Jamestown 107.1.  Times for Friday’s games are to be determined.

Jimmie softball, which on Sunday clinched the NSAA regular season title, the first for the program since 2018, will play on Friday afternoon at 1:00 PM Central time at Bravera Field in the Sanford Sports Complex against the winner of Thursday’s game between VCSU and Mayville State.  If the Jimmies win that game, they would play in a winner’s bracket game at noon Central time on Saturday.  If Jamestown loses, it would play another game on Friday, an elimination game at 5:00 PM Central time.
