DICKINSON – Jamestown Blue Jay Softball finished 2-1-1 at the Dickinson High Invitational after a 1-1 tie with Red River and a 10-7 win over Legacy Saturday at the Sanford Sports Complex.

At Eagles Field, the Blue Jays (7-7-1) salvaged the tie when Megan Jarrett stole home in the bottom of the sixth, the last inning to be completed before the time limit.

In the circle, Maddie Hoff pitched a three-hitter and struck out 12.

Jamestown 10, Legacy 7
At Bravera Field, a five-run sixth inning rally gave Jamestown (8-7-1) a comeback win.

Jamestown was down 7-5 before Jaelyn Sloan walked with the bases loaded. Avery Graves tied the game with an RBI single. After a passed ball scored the go-ahead run, Jordan Mikkelson drove in her third run of the game with her fourth hit, a single to right field. A wild pitch scored the inning’s final run.

Graves hit two singles and drove in three. Sophia Bond had two hits.

Sloan (4-2) struck out 12 for the win in the circle.

Jamestown will return to WDA play with a doubleheader Tuesday against Century in Bismarck.
