VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  Hi-Liner baseball was swept by Fargo Davies Friday in their latest round of EDC baseball.

The Hi-Liners were beaten 12-2 in game one, limited to three hits in the game.  Davies erupted with eight runs in the final two innings for the win.

James Schwehr, Corbyn Powell, and Luke Praska had lone hits for Valley City.

Davies scored 12 runs in the second inning in a 16-1 win of the nightcap.  Powell tacked on another hit, and Chase Coghlan added a hit for Valley City.

Each game was worth a point in the EDC standings.  Valley City is now 0-6 in the league, 0-5 overall.  They face West Fargo Sheyenne on Monday.
