VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  After a rough outing against West Fargo Sheyenne, the Hi-Liner softball team bounced back Thursday against Fargo South.

Valley City pulled it’s record to 4-2 in Eastern Dakota Conference play with a 13-0, 5-inning matchup with Fargo South Thursday afternoon in Valley City.

The Hi-Liners were looking for positives after suffering a 44-0 loss to West Fargo Sheyenne on Tuesday night.  Despite the lopsided loss earlier in the week, a young Valley City roster has earned wins over Devils Lake and Fargo South this season.

Valley City’s roster features just one senior, while eight of the 12 rostered players are freshmen or younger.

The Hi-Liners face Fargo Davies April 28th.
