DRAKE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Dakota Angus, LLC., a North Dakota owned and operated beef producer, is expanding its delivery routes to better serve customers across the region. The new delivery locations allow customers to meet Dakota Angus directly and pick up their pre-ordered beef boxes, specialty cuts, value added beef snacks and new product offerings closer to home.

The new route, including locations in Carrington, Jamestown, Edgeley, Wilton and Bismarck are in addition to their existing routes which make stops in Minot, Velva, Rugby, Towner, McClusky, Sawyer, Garrison and Harvey.

Started in 2022, in response to consumer demand for local beef options, the direct-to-consumer portion of the business has become a growing part of the operation for this multi-generation family ranch. As a registered Angus producer, they understood the value of high-quality genetics and the power of the Angus brand. That lead them to do the necessary work to become part of a pilot program to become one of the first Certified Angus Beef® Ranch-to-Table producers in the country and the only certified producer in North Dakota.

Dakota Angus manager Ashley Bruner remarked, “We have a long track record of quality stock and we felt that we could offer consumers not just beef, but quality beef in prime cuts.” Bruner continued, “All of our beef adheres to the highest standards meeting the 10 rigorous quality standards established by Certified Angus Beef. That is not a designation to be taken lightly when only 3 in 10 Angus cattle meet that quality standard.”

As proof of their path to success, Certified Angus Beef awarded Dakota Angus partners Bruner Angus Ranch and Wendel Livestock with the prestigious Progressive Partner award. With the new routes, Dakota Angus serves 13 cities and provides local beef to schools and nursing homes, popular restaurants like Peacock Alley and 40 Steak and Seafood and is a sponsor of the Minot Hot Tots and Honeybees where you can find their all beef brats and hotdogs.

When asked what’s next, Bruner highlighted their new products like Cajun beef jerky and tallow products.
Dakota Angus has a full line up of beef products including ground beef, pre-pattied burgers, roasts, steaks and specialty cuts. In addition to their beef products they also have value added beef products like sausage, brats and hotdogs along with snack products including flavored jerky and beef sticks.

Bruner closed by saying, “We’re listening to what our customers want and they want more delivery locations, more accessibility and more quality products and choices. For us, we are proud to make our beef more accessible and find more ways of adding value and using the whole animal responsibly.”
