MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Valley City Hi-Liners wrapped up their indoor track and field season with a strong showing at the Late Spring Indoor meet at Concordia College on April 8. Competing with a small squad, the Hi-Liners recorded seven personal bests, six new Valley City High School indoor records, and had 28 top-eight finishes across events.

New VCHS Indoor Records

  • Morgan Larson – 4th place, 55m; also set sophomore class record

  • Jaisa Lassiter – 5th place, 55m hurdles

  • Kadie Kocka – 1st place, pole vault; also set junior class record

  • Owen Hunt – Set freshman record in shot put

  • Greta Goven – 800m

  • Dylan Hunt – Shot put

  • 4x200m Relay Team – Jayden Suhr, Derek Shape, Jake Anderson, Hunter Undem

The meet marked the final competition of the indoor season. The Hi-Liners now shift their focus to the outdoor campaign, with the season set to begin April 11 at West Fargo Sheyenne.
