FARGO – University of Jamestown Track & Field saw some individuals and teams achieve top-eight finishes Friday at the NDSU Spring Invitational at the Terrence Dahl and Donna Beres Track Complex.

For the Jimmie women, Brooke Olson was second in the 5000 meters, followed by Kirsten Vander Kooi in third and Jennifer Tallackson in fourth.  UJ’s 4×100 relay team placed fourth.  Ruth Harris was fourth in the triple jump.  Brenna Held placed fifth in the shot put.  Cambrie Fischer was seventh best in the javelin.

Dawson Sedivec had the best finish for the Jimmie men, taking second in the hammer throw.  He also was eighth in the discus.  The Jamestown 4×100 relay team was fourth.  Cole Campbell was fifth and Clark Lortscher sixth in the 3000 meter steeplechase.  Ashton Judge placed sixth in the long jump.  Dylan Frusciante was eighth in the 110 meter hurdles.  Riley Johnson and Ethan Duval shared eighth in the high jump.

Both Jimmie teams will be at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse Phil Esten Challenge on Thursday.
