JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Blue Jays Track & Field posted wins over Edgeley/Kulm in the Jamestown Earlybird meet Thursday at Rollie Greeno Field at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.

The Blue Jay girls won 365 to 133, while the boys took a 363-82 win.

Winners for the Blue Jay girls included Lydia Stoterau in the 200 meters, Mea Ulland in the 400 meters, Claire Marker in the 800 meters, Julia Skari in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles, the 4×100 relay team of Stoterau, Aubrey Krapp, Skari and Cece Romsdal, the 4×400 relay team of Romsdal, Layna Hoffer, Claire Marker and Mia Kaiser, Addison Marker in the shot put and discus, Hoffer in the high jump and pole vault and Claire Marker in the triple jump.

For the Jamestown boys, Tristan Williams won the 100 meters, Noah Lynch captured the 200 and 400 meters, Jared Sagaser won the 110 meter hurdles and Brady Harty won the 300 meter hurdles.  Also taking wins were the 4×400 relay team of Grady Eckart, Harty, Noah Lorenz and Sagaser, Cody Berreth in the shot put and discus, Jacoby Traut in the javelin, Peacemaker Tukumunde in the high jump and Ryan Kallenbach in the triple jump.

Jamestown’s girls will next compete Tuesday in the Bismarck Public Schools Girls Invite at the MDU Resources Community Bowl.  Both teams will be at the VCSU High School Open on April 24 at Lokken Stadium in Valley City.
