
JAMESTOWN – A $5,750 grant for the purchase of customized recycling bins for six parks was recently granted by the Jamestown Community Foundation.
Receiving the grant is a partnership of local non-profit groups that is led by the Anne Carlsen Center. It also includes Alpha Opportunities, Bridgewell, Community Action, Easter Seals/Goodwill, Triumph, Inc., Jamestown Parks and Recreation and the Jamestown Recycling Center.
These groups will all be involved in maintaining, sorting and collecting the contents of the recycling bins and preparing the items for transport to the Jamestown Recycling Center.
