VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – St. Catherine School is excited to announce the hiring of Beth Nadelin as the Director of St. Catherine Little Saints Child Care. Beth is deeply committed to faith-based early childhood education and has years of experience providing quality childcare. She is eager to help build a nurturing, Christ-centered environment for the youngest members of the St. Catherine community.

“I have been a part of the Valley City community for nearly nine years. Most of that time has been spent providing quality, faith-based childcare. I am excited for a new opportunity as I step into the role of Director at St. Catherine’s Little Saints Child Care,” Beth shared.

She emphasized that a few vital components of Little Saints Child Care will include:
 Facilitating child development through curriculum and structured daily routines.
 Intentional collaboration between teachers and parents encourages communication, trust, and a shared commitment to each child’s success.
 We share Jesus’ love in how we teach and nurture every child in our center.

Now Accepting Interest List for Enrollment!
Families interested in enrolling their child at St. Catherine Little Saints Child Care should contact the school office to be added to our interest list. Once official enrollment opens, our new director or office staff member will reach out with details.
All families are welcome—you do not need to be Catholic to attend or enroll at Little Saints Child Care. Our goal is to provide a loving, faith-filled environment that meets all children’s developmental and educational needs.

Exciting Growth and Facility Enhancements St. Catherine School is expanding and remodeling its facilities to ensure that Little Saints Child Care meets the highest standards in early childhood care and education.

Key Updates Include:
 Additional Restrooms – Plans are underway to add more bathrooms to better serve young children and ensure a safe, convenient space for all age groups.
 Reconfiguring Layouts & Expanding Space—The daycare’s square footage is being expanded to accommodate children in developmentally appropriate learning areas, ensuring that infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children receive care tailored to their needs.

 Major Room Changes – To optimize learning spaces for both the school and daycare, the following adjustments are being made:
o Music Classroom Moving Upstairs—The music room will move to a new space across from the chapel, which historically housed boarders and the Sisters.
o Resource Room Relocation – The basement resource room will move upstairs to enhance accessibility and services for students.
o Library & Computer Lab Reconfiguration – The library layout will be adjusted, and the computer lab will transition into a multi-functional resource room, with computers available both in that space and throughout the library.

Community Support & Wish List Sponsorship Bringing St. Catherine Little Saints Child Care to life requires community support, and the school will soon release a wish list of sponsorship opportunities. Parishioners and supporters will have the chance to sponsor cribs, tables, classroom resources, supplies, and more to help build a thriving childcare program.

Additionally, gently used donations will be accepted according to specific guidelines that will be shared in upcoming bulletins and on the school’s Facebook page. “It truly takes a village to make this mission a reality,” said Nick Lee, Principal of St. Catherine School. “We are confident in the strength of our St. Catherine community. Yoursupport—whether through donations, prayers, or encouragement—will help us fulfill our missionof inspiring excellence through faith, learning, and service.”
