JAMESTOWN – University of Jamestown Women’s Wrestling Head Coach Amy Golding has resigned after three seasons.  UJ Athletic Director Austin Hieb made the announcement Wednesday.

Golding led the Jimmies to two top-four finishes in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, including third place this past season.  Under the guidance of Golding, ten UJ women’s wrestlers qualified for the NAIA National Championships, five were individual conference champions and 21 were named all-conference.

Hieb said, “We’d like to thank Amy for the past three years she gave the University of Jamestown athletic department.  We wish her well in her future endeavors.”

There is a national search underway for a new head coach.
