JAMESTOWN, ND (NewsDakota.com) – St. John’s Academy’s archery team delivered an impressive performance at the State Archery Tournament, securing top spots across all divisions, from Elementary to Middle School. The competition saw remarkable achievements in both the Bullseye and 3D events, showcasing the skill, dedication, and determination of these young athletes.

Bullseye Tournament Highlights:
 Middle School Team took 1st place with a total score of 3240 (average 270), boasting the highest team score across all divisions (High School, Middle School, and Elementary School).
 McKenna Lipetzky, a standout on the Middle School team, captured 1st place in Middle School Girls with an impressive score of 292 and was named the Overall Bullseye Runner-Up for Girls, earning a $3,000 college scholarship.

 Cyrus Mann, an Elementary School athlete, claimed 1st place in Elementary Boys with a score of 280, making him a rising star in the archery world.
 Other notable performances included Leah Mann, who placed 10th in Middl School Girls with a score of 275, and Emeri Wolff, who finished 2nd in Elementary Girls with a score of 265.

3D Tournament Highlights:
 The Middle School Team continued its dominance, securing 1st place in 3D with a total score of 1643 (average 273.8), and the 2nd highest team score across all divisions.
 In individual accolades, Ethan Krapp led the charge with a 1st place finish in Middle School Boys (287), followed closely by Joe Bahr, who placed 3rd in Middle School Boys (280).

 McKenna Lipetzky continued her stellar performance, finishing 2nd in Middle School Girls in 3D with a score of 278.
 Cyrus Mann once again shone, securing 1st place in Elementary Boys with a score of 271.

In recognition of his outstanding performance, Ethan Krapp was named Overall 3D Runner-Up and was one of the top 5 archers selected to participate in an exclusive 1-arrow shoot-off for a chance to win a Wyoming antelope hunt, an  extraordinary opportunity for any young archer. The team, as well as some individuals, have qualified to participate at the National Tournament, in Sandy, Utah, coming up at the end of April. These remarkable achievements at the State Archery Tournament highlight the dedication, teamwork, and perseverance of St. John’s Academy’s archery program. The school is proud to support and celebrate its student-athletes, who continue to excel in both individual and team events.
