JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Blue Jays gymnast Julia Skari was named as the Senior Athlete of the Year by the North Dakota High School Gymnastics Coaches Association.  Skari and junior teammate Sutton Van Gilder were named first team All-State.

Skari won all-around competitions four times this past season and was second five times, including in the WDA Championships and in the NDHSAA State Gymnastics Meet.  At the state meet, Skari had her best all-around score of 38.683.

Van Gilder won first in the all-around in one of the Blue Jays’ home meets on December 20 and had three second place finishes.
