GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Here are the results from the Mike Grandall Open held March 21st at the University of North Dakota.

Women
The women’s team placed 2nd out of 21 teams, setting 11 Personal Records, and four school records. There were several outstanding performances with 16 place winners.
Kadie Kocka was the outstanding performer of the meet with placing 3rd in the Pole Vault, 4th in the Long Jump, and 5th in the 60 meter, and ran on the 1st place 4x200m relay.
Morgan Larson performed well placing 6th in the 200m which moves her to 4th on the VCHS indoor school performance list. She also ran on the 1st place 4x200m relay.
Layni Bakalar place 7th in the Long Jump and ran on the 1st place 4x200m relay.
Greta Goven picked up where she left off last season by placing 1st in the 600 meter and 3rd in the 800 meter. With her performances she set a new meet record in the 600 and is now 1st on the VCHS indoor school performance list.
Brynn Lueck ran well placing 2nd in the 600 meter and 6th in the 800 meter. She is now 3 rd on the VCHS indoor school performance list for the 600 meter.

Notable Performances:
Maddie Wendel – 5th in the 60 meter Hurdles
Cadence Fetsch – 5th in the Mile and 7th in the 800 meter
Jaisa Lassiter – Set two personal records in the 60 meter Hurdles and 60 meter
Uria Gabel – Set two personal records in the 60 meter and 200 meter
4×200 Relay – Layni Bakalar, Morgan Larson, Kadie Kocka, Chesney Thomsen

Men
The men’s team placed 15th out of 24 teams and set 10 Personal Records. There were several outstanding performances with 7 place winners. The 4×200 team of Jayden Suhr, Jake Anderson, Derek Shape, and Issac Norby placed 5th .
Scot Rohde place 6th in the Shot Put setting a new Personal Record.
Jack Sorby – Placed 6th in the Mile setting a new Personal Record.
Aadon Stanton Ring – Placed 8th in the 60 meter Hurdles

Owen Hunt – Personal record in the Shot Put
Zach Giesler – Personal records in the 60 meter, and 200 meter
Adrian Rivera – Personal record in the 800 meter
Elijah Drummond – Personal record in the 800 meter
