BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Gov. Kelly Armstrong and officials from the North Dakota Department of Commerce and Bank of North Dakota (BND) will visit the city of Ellendale on Wednesday, March 19 to tour and receive updates on the new Applied Digital data center and a housing project currently under construction.

The housing project is the first to utilize North Dakota’s Rural-Workforce Initiative to Support Housing (R-WISH) program. Armstrong also will highlight how Commerce’s proposed Housing for Opportunity, Mobility and Empowerment (HOME) program moving through the legislative process will help support housing solutions identified by communities.

Armstrong, Commerce Commissioner Chris Schilken, BND President Don Morgan, Ellendale Mayor Don Flaherty, representatives of Applied Digital and Headwaters Development from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT Wednesday, March 19. The tour begins and ends at Ellendale Opera House, 55 Main St., Ellendale, N.D.
