BISMARCK – Jamestown Jimmies righthanded starter Avery Liestman has been named as the NSAA Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 9.

On Friday, Liestman pitched a six-hit complete game in a 3-1 seven-inning win over Ottawa University (AZ) at the Tucson Invitational Games.  Liestman allowed just one run, struck out six and walked one.

Liestman is 4-1 this season with two complete games and 11-2 in 16 starts overall as a Jimmie after he was 7-1 with a 2.38 ERA in his junior year.
