SURPRISE, AZ – University of Jamestown Baseball concluded its 2025 Arizona swing Saturday with a doubleheader split with Ottawa (AZ) at the Kansas City Royals’ spring training complex.

Game 1: Ottawa (AZ) 3, Jamestown 2
Nicholas Lustig hit a go-ahead two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning for Ottawa (16-7).

Jordan Singleton gave UJ (15-6) the lead with an RBI groundout in the fourth inning.

Ottawa tied the game in their sixth, but a wild pitch by Sam Lachot gave Jamestown a 2-1 lead in the top of the seventh.

Ryan Radkey (2-1) pitched six innings, allowing three runs and five hits with three strikeouts and a walk.

Game 1: Jamestown 8, Ottawa (AZ) 4
Jamestown (16-6) stormed to an 8-0 lead, backing Isaac Hanson (2-0), who allowed one run in five and a third innings with three strikeouts.

The Jimmies’ first three runs came in the second inning, with one scoring on an error and two more on a single by Julian Romero.

Isaiah Roebuck extended the lead to 4-0 with an RBI single in the third.

In a four-run fourth, Ryan Muiezlaar hit a two-run single and later stole third and scored on an error. Triston Madison brought in the final run with a groundout.

Jamestown will play at the NSAA Invitational Tournament on March 21 & 22.
