VALLEY CITY, N.D. — In one of the most dominant performances in North Dakota state championship history, the Valley City Hi-Liners stifled the Thompson Tommie’s high-powered offense en route to a 67-44 victory Saturday, March 8th securing the program’s first girls basketball state title.

Katie Burchill sealed the win with 10 points in the fourth, finishing with 23 points and 10 rebounds to earn tournament MVP honors with Skye Nielson also be named to the All-Tournament team. The full story is available on the sports section of NewsDakota.com
