VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City Public Schools Superintendent Josh Johnson is asking the community to read the report attached at the bottom.

He said the report includes important information regarding our projected student enrollments, staffing/programs, and district finances. Someone shared a Facebook post with me recently that was speaking about our challenges in Valley City. The last sentence of the post has resonated with me over the past two weeks. It read, “I want Valley City to be better, to do more with less, and for people to stay in Valley City.” The author describes in his post that his intention isn’t to offend anyone but rather offer solutions. I think this is a great place for us to begin and something we can all definitely rally around helping to make our community better.

Johnson looks forward to upcoming meetings, discussions, and conversations on these important topics in Valley City. If you would like to meet or sit down for a cup of coffee to ask questions or share your thoughts, please let me know. I can be contacted via email at josh.johnson@k12.nd.us or phone at 701-845-0483. Valley City has a proud past and a very exciting future!
