
BISMARCK – Junior and leading conference scorer Kate Cordes of University of Jamestown Women’s Basketball was named to the All-NSAA First Team, released Tuesday.
Senior Hannah Hagel of Carrington was given honorable mention.
Cordes is averaging 20 points per game and has moved into 14th on the all-time UJ scoring list with 1,218 points. She has 559 points this season, fifth most ever by a Jimmie in a single season. Cordes has four games with at least 32 points, including a career-high 36 on February 26 in an NSAA quarterfinal against Dickinson State at Harold Newman Arena.
Hagel is averaging 8.4 points per game, tied for second for Jamestown. She also averages 4.3 rebounds, fifth on the team.
Kate Busek was named as the UJ winner of the NSAA Champions of Character award.
